There is no specific time of day required. You can collect your sample whenever it is most convenient for you, following the instructions included in your test kit.

Your sample can be safely stored at room temperature before posting. There is no need to refrigerate or freeze your sample, even if you need to wait until the next available postal collection.

Your sample remains stable for up to one year when collected using the YorkTest collection kit. Although we recommend returning your sample as soon as possible, the stabilisation solution preserves your sample during storage and transit.
