The best money I have ever spent, within days of eliminating the food on the list I am finally free of bloating, cramps and pain.

I finally know all my trigger foods after years of guessing and getting it totally wrong! I have suffered for years but I am now in control.

Can't thank you enough and only wish I heard of this earlier.

The test is easy to do and the results come through really quickly. One of the best bits is that if the first step is positive you don't have to take any more blood they can use the original sample for any further tests which give so much detail.

I have done the programme in stages rather than all at once. I don't drink very often so therefore have not drunk alcohol. I started the food programme by not having cows milk, dairy or wheat. I didn't like gluten free bread so have gone back to having wholemeal bread, but not as often as I did and so far I don't seem to have had any reaction. Cows milk makes my stomach grizzly so have started using almond milk and this seems ok. I have gone on to using dairy free butter and cheese and I don't seem to have any reaction to these.

Having noticed a change in my body and the way I was feeling after having certain foods/meals I decided to look in to the York test after a friend at work recommended she did it! Although the price did seem expensive I was assured to remember that the results would benefit me for the rest of my life!

The results came back with milk, eggs and yeast intolerant which was a bit daunting at first because I felt like that was in everything! Before long I had plenty websites and apps on my phone that helped me to create a variety of tasty meals and snacks! Although sometimes I still lack to resist the urge of having the "naughty" foods I normally regret it within a couple hours...

This test results will be with me for the rest of my life and considering I'm only 21 that's going to be a long time, but knowing what is going to make my feel bloated and in pain is better than just second guessing everything before I eat it!

I have also noticed some weight loss by sticking to my new diet, I have also had a lot more energy and just generally felt better about myself and body confidence!

Would recommend to anyone to just spend the money, it will benefit you!

I was at first sceptical that taking the test would erradicate my symptoms of discomfort, but i can honestly say that since having the test done and changing my diet, I feel amazing. There are some bad days still, as it still early days, but generally all good.

I have lost 1/2 stone since the testing, no more discomfort, my clothes actually fit me, and colleagues, family & friends comments on how much better I look.

I would recommend this test to anyone, its not cheap, but well worth it.

My irritable bladder calmed down after several weeks.

I decided to take this test after years of having issues with my stomach. I was originally diagnosed with "it might be IBS" from my doctor but I didn't want a "might", I wanted to know.

I had enough of feeling sick after certain foods and just in general, so I searched the web and I looked for something that could indicate what foods could possibly trigger my health issues. I found York Test UK and done the first test sample to indicate a yes or no, it indicated yes so I bought the Food & Drink scan program.

Best decision ever and so accurate! I can't believe some of the results. One including chicken in my amber section. Followed the lifestyle for a couple of weeks and definitely felt a difference. Went off track and felt like how I originally always felt like! So, I'm definitely going back to my new lifestyle!

What I tell people now is: Go for it! Get the test done and see if you can change your lifestyle. It's hard but worth it.

I cannot thank York test enough!!

I had been suffering with a persistent rash on my legs for 7/8 months and needed to find the reason sooner rather than later due to my wedding and honeymoon in September this year.

From the first phone call made to this company I was made to feel at ease and all my questions were answered! In just over a week I had my results to say that I have an allergy to cows milks, something id never thought it would be!

I have now been rash free ever since I received my results!

I would recommend this company to anyone! Thank you so much!

Excellent

Only wish the nutritionalist phone call was longer than half hour or perhaps x2 sessions with the nutritionalist 6 weeks apart. Also to be told that before you take a York test to make sure you are not a coeliac and you are as well as you can possibly be before taking the test.

But other than that I would recommend to anyone.

It's a very true test and can change your life around.

After many years of being told you don't have allergies, nothing showing up on tests! Consultants being quite rude, a new GP told me to do the York Test.

Wow, best thing I have ever done, did the first step, this was positive, I have some food intolerance's yippi, I am not going mad. I cut these out of my diet, and feeling so good.

Would recommend this to anyone.

Having felt terrible on and off for years, always being tired, it was brilliant to finally get to the bottom of the issue. I had been fobbed off by various doctors and specialists and found this extremely frustrating. The team at York Test were extremely helpful and I would recommend you use them if you have explored all other conventional avenues and want a clear result.

I have overhauled my diet to exclude all my trigger foods apart from cows milk which I fully intend to stop drinking in the next couple of months. I felt unable to suddenly replace this with a substitute but have chosen to gradually introduce almond milk over a period of time.

I am pleased to say that for the first time in 35 years I have suffered no IBS for eight weeks!!! I keep waiting for it to happen but so far it hasn't, its incredible to me.

Also my eyes do not itch much at all now whereas previously they were irritable and itchy every day. Also my heartburn and indigestion have been almost eliminated.

My all consuming tiredness and joint pain has vastly improved and I'm hopeful that in time this will resolve completely, perhaps when the cows milk has been eliminated. Anyhow I'm grateful for the improvement I've had so far, I can't quite believe it really and I wish I had stopped wheat, gluten and eggs years ago, to think of all the pain and suffering I've had! I wish GP's would recommend your test to the legions of patients with IBS to see if it helps them (I work as a GP secretary and it plagues so many of the patients in my practice).

I have, for a few years, been suffering from several health problems, such as eczema, asthma, inflamed joints, constipation and bloating. I was pretty convinced these were caused by food intolerances, and started researching food intolerance testing, but the cost put me off, so I decided I would DIY some testing myself. I cut out dairy, which helped, and I also attempted several elimination diets over several months, but I found it impossible to stick to them, as I suspected so many foods were causing me problems, and at that point I knew I wanted help to pinpoint the culprits.

After much deliberation and online research I decided to go for it, and if I was going to really go for it it had to be the York Test Food and Drink scan.

Yes it seems expensive, but what price do you put on your health and happiness? So I reintroduced dairy and all other foods I had been half heartedly avoiding and ate pretty normally for 2 months (which happily coincided with the Christmas and New Year festive period) and once January came around I ordered the test. The test arrived within a couple of days, and I set to reading the simple instructions and taking the blood test and carrying it to the post office as if it were a precious piece of porcelain! Then the long wait....only just over a week but it seemed much longer, especially as I received confirmation that the sample had been received, and then that the results had been processed, but still had to wait for the results to plop through the letterbox.

Getting the results was such a good feeling, at last I had proof that some of the foods I had been eating freely were causing me problems. I had registered intolerant to cows milk (no surprise), egg white (big surprise), cashew nuts, brazil nuts (oh no) and yeast (the worst of them all)! I also registered borderline intolerant to gluten, plaice/sole/egg yolk, grapes and lychee. So there it was, in black and white (and red and orange and green). I didn't feel at all upset or disappointed as I had been so used to restricting my diet, but now I had a proper tailored list to work with. My chat with the nutritionist went well, but she didn't really offer me any advice that I didn't already know, but it was nice to know I could call back if I had any further queries. And now to the real results. I have to come clean and say I have not 100% eliminated all my problem foods, but I have vastly cut back. I do feel much better, and I am planning to do full on elimination once I have a clear social break in my calendar!

I am so glad I took the test, and I would recommend it to anyone whether you think you have health problems or not, I am sure everyone would trigger intolerant to one food or other.

Very professional service. I bought the Food & Drink Scan programme & was diagnosed as being dairy & gluten intolerant. Since cutting out foods containing these ingredients I feel a different person - many thanks. I can't believe the difference in a few short weeks.

I had migraines so got advised that it could possibly be an intolerance to something so decided to do this test. Was a quick and easy test and got the results back really quickly. After finding out I'm cows milk intolerant the doctor rang and was really helpful in explaining the alternatives. I've managed to cut out cows milk and no longer suffer with migraines. Brilliant service, would recommend.

Raised levels of food-specific IgG antibodies within your blood indicate that an IgG antibody reaction to a particular food or foods has occurred.  If you have already taken the decision to eliminate a particular food or foods from your diet they may not show up a reaction on your results.  If you know of foods that cause you to feel unwell, do not start eating them; we do not encourage you to eat a food or foods which you already know are a problem to you.

Food&Drink Scan does not provide information about coeliac disease, enzyme deficiencies such as lactose and alcohol intolerance, IgE-mediated allergies, histamine sensitivity or other chemical sensitivities such as reactions to sulphites, tannins or tyramine.  Food&DrinkScan is only recommended for people who have food and drink intolerance symptoms.
