Lynne Williams

Symptoms: Severe bloating, lack of energy, constipated, breathless, mood swings

Food Reactions:  Eggs, cows milk, yeast and wheat

“…all my symptoms have noticeably decreased. I feel excited and alive again”

For over 10 years, police officer Lynne Williams had been suffering from severe bloating, lack of energy and constipation, believing they were symptoms of menopause.

When discussing her symptoms, she explained, “It affected my bubbly personality….Inside I was confused. I was simply not happy. Toilet habits were atrocious, my symptoms were bad”. She had tried cutting out carbs, eating more fruit and even going to the gym, however she couldn’t shake these symptoms.

Luckily, Lynne heard about York Test through a friend who suggested she take a food intolerance test. “She urged me to do it. Thank goodness I did!”.

Lynne Williams york test review

Lynne took our Premium Food Intolerance Test and discovered that she was intolerant to Eggs, Cow’s Milk, Yeast and Wheat. Once removing these trigger foods from her diet, Lynne noticed positive results, after just 1 week. “My bloating has almost gone, my confidence has soared … .I’m so much better, in fact all my symptoms have noticeably decreased.”

Our test analyses your IgG reactions to 200 food and drinks – from common ingredients like gluten and cow’s milk, to health superfoods like kale and quinoa.

The process involves sending a finger-prick blood sample back to YorkTest. Lynne then received her results within 7-days through the Wellness Hub, in an easy-to-read traffic light-based format. When asked about the process of the elimination diet, Lynne had a very motivational outlook, “For me it’s not about it being easy, it’s just a mindset….There are some fantastic foods out there. For me, it’s about self care and being the best version of myself.”

Since taking the test and implementing her new diet, Lynne has told us she feels good about herself again, knowing she finally has answers. “I feel excited and alive again”.

When asked about her experience with our Customer Care Team, Lynne explained she was sent more information about what to eat and what to avoid along with a list of alternative foods. Overall she described her experience as “Fantastic!”

Finally, we asked Lynne to sum up her whole experience with YorkTest in one sentence, to which she concluded “Awesome, fantastic, awake, alive….So take the test, you will be amazed.
