Pioneer of Food Intolerance Testing, in collaboration with the University of York
Dr Gill Hart is a pioneer of Food Intolerance Testing, having worked in collaboration with the University of York to develop new technologies in IgG food-specific intolerance testing.
With over 30 years’ experience in the development and validation of diagnostic tests and services. Dr Gill steered the company’s research opportunities and product development for over 20 years. YorkTest Laboratories research shapes and directs the way in which we conduct our food sensitivity tests and other testing services, providing us with critical knowledge needed to help optimise your diet and wellbeing.
A former Senior Biochemist at Hammersmith Hospital in London, Dr Gill led the development and validation of innovative diagnostic tests for hospital and other health settings.
After 20 years at YorkTest, Dr Gill retired in July 2025 and remains a friend and supporter of the company, having helped build YorkTest Laboratories into the UK market leader in food sensitivity, food allergy, and health testing.
