“Feeling pretty well and happy for an 83 year old!”

83-year-old, former university researcher and pro-vice chancellor, Anthony Robards, was dealing with a range of unpleasant symptoms including mild IBS and needing to go to the toilet more frequently than normal for a period of three to six months.

When asked about how these symptoms affected his life, Anthony said: “Nothing I couldn’t do but I needed to have in mind that need to go to the loo might be more pressing than normal.”

Having previously bee chair of the Board of Directors at YorkTest, Anthony decided to also give food sensitivity testing a try to see if he could ascertain the root cause of his symptoms. “I couldn’t think what might be upsetting my gut (no other food/diet habits had changed) so I thought checking my food sensitivities would be sensible.”
