"I felt amazing, not only did my skin improve with each day, but my brain was also less foggy and my energy levels increased dramatically"

“I am free, there aren’t any words to describe this feeling”

35-year-old Sara Wilson had been struggling with guttate psoriasis for 4 years before doing a test. This painful skin condition covered 80% of her body and hugely affected her day-to-day life. The Psoriasis meant that clothes would be painful to wear and meant that Sara couldn’t go swimming with her children or go to the beach without people staring, which took its toll on her mental health.

“It massively affected my life, I could no longer wear the clothes I would normally wear, I could no longer take the kids swimming, I was in a lot of pain with my psoriasis patches. It affected every aspect of my life”.

Sara had previously tried steroid creams and medication that her dermatologist had prescribed but to no avail. When Sara mention that these symptoms could be diet-related, she was told by her dermatologist that her diet could not possibly be causing psoriasis.

This is when Sara finally decided to look for alternative options to help alleviate her symptoms. After doing some research online, Sara came across YorkTest. This is when Sara purchased the Premium Food Sensitivity Test.

Sara’s results found that she had a sensitivity to dairy, gluten, and white potato, which she says she was not expecting; and she was then able to eliminate these trigger foods from her diet.

When asked how she felt once the trigger foods were removed, Sara added “I felt amazing, not only did my skin improve with each day, but my brain was also less foggy and my energy levels increased dramatically”.

The Premium Food Sensitivity Test analyzes your IgG reactions to 200 food and drinks – from common ingredients like Cow’s Milk, Gluten and Egg, to health superfoods like kale and quinoa.

Eliminating the trigger foods and sticking to her diet plan has helped clear Sara’s psoriasis (pictured) and helped to restore her confidence. When asked about the nutritional consultation she also booked, Sara was very happy: “The nutritional therapist was amazing, she had so much time for me, answered any questions I had. I went back to her regularly with more questions and nothing was too much for her. She sent me a detailed diet tailored to my needs.”

Sara also mentioned that she found the YorkTest Customer Service team to be “thorough, kind and friendly”. When asked how her life had changed since taking the test, Sara added “dramatically it’s day and night”.

The before and after photos provided by Sara show a dramatic difference from taking the food intolerance test and following through with her elimination diet, and when asked if she could summarize how she felt in a small sentence, Sara told us “I am free, there aren’t any words to describe this feeling”.
