“Since I’ve removed certain foods from my diet I’ve never felt better”

32-year-old Conor had been suffering with a range of unpleasant symptoms including headaches, dry skin and bloating. He had struggled with these symptoms for over 15 years.

Conor explained how these symptoms had affected him in his day to day life, “It could have a huge impact on my work and home life massively. Time off work. Time with my children.” His symptoms also prevented Conor from pursuing his favourite hobbies and activities, ” I have always been active in football, cricket and golf but with the headaches and bloating I stopped going.”

After seeing doctors and having various tests to try and find the reason for his headaches, Conor decided to give YorkTest a try after a recommendation from a work colleague.

After taking a Premium Food Sensitivity Test, Conor found he had IgG reactivity to a number of different foods including yeast and egg white.

Once he began eliminating his trigger ingredients, Conor saw visible improvements after just 3 to 4 days.  “I feel a lot more energetic so far. I went for a round of golf and didn’t worry about feeling bloated or getting a headache mid round.”

Talking about his experience with trying to eliminate multiple foods from his diet, Conor said “Once I spoke to the after care team, I found it easy and they offered me easy solutions.”

YorkTest analyses your IgG reactions to 200 food and drinks – from common ingredients like cow’s milk, gluten and egg, to health superfoods like kale and quinoa.

The process, which involves sending a finger-prick blood sample to the company’s laboratories revealed Conor’s intolerances. Following on from the test, the YorkTest Customer Care Team are on hand to answer any queries and offer follow-up advice along with our expert nutritional therapists.

When asked how he found his experience with YorkTest and customer service, Conor added: “In terms of my overall wellbeing since I removed certain foods from my diet I’ve never felt better.”
