The brand has enjoyed a presence in the UK for 40 years, establishing ourselves as the #1 Food Intolerance & Allergy test provider. The business has recently undergone a technology and branding refresh, paving the way for exciting growth plans, including the launch of a broader range of health & wellbeing products and development into new markets, such as the US.

Digital Marketing, including Social Media Marketing, is at the heart of our business plans and is critical to our future success.  We are a consumer led business – great digital marketing and social media e-commerce strategies and implementation will drive our planned revenue growth.

About The Role/Candidate Requirements

This full-time role requires an enthusiastic, creative and proactive individual with a passion for social media and content creation.  Hands-on campaign development, execution and management will be required across organic and paid social media. You will also be the main point of contact for our influencers and work to help us grow our network in this area.

This is predominantly a B2C-focused role, we’re looking for someone who can develop and distribute high-quality, engaging social media content that builds brand awareness, reaches our target audiences and drives our revenue growth. There is an element of B2B community engagement as you will be required to create and share content in our private groups for B2B customers.

If your ideal role involves keeping up with the latest social media trends and emerging influencers, crafting eye-catching visuals and enticing copy, building a sense of community, and finding new ways to reach our audience and generate online sales, then we want to hear from you!

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business with ambitious goals. You will play a key role in the marketing team, working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Executive, as well as our external agencies and consultants. With an understanding of how social media fits into the wider marketing strategy, you’ll have a voice in shaping our social media presence and the freedom to put forward new ideas.

You will need to demonstrate clear experience, knowledge and skills within the following key areas:

– Social media management (2yrs+)

– Content creation using Canva and/or Adobe Suite

– Paid social media advertising, with a focus on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn

– Influencer outreach and management

– Basic photography and videography skills

– Excellent attention to detail and highly organised


Other desirable, but not essential, skills include:

– E-commerce experience

– Experience within the health / wellbeing industry

– Experience running social media campaigns for US audiences

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

We welcome candidates from an agency or client-side background.

Specific key responsibilities & daily/weekly tasks in this role will include:

– Social Media Content Plan: Helping develop the cross-platform social media content plan for all key markets and products.

– Social media management: scheduling posts, responding to enquiries, following relevant accounts and liking their posts, sharing customer/influencer posts, boosting posts, etc.

– Content creation: adapting approved copy to work for social media channels, creating reels/tiktoks and creating visuals that are in keeping with our brand guidelines and tone of voice.

– Social media influencers: sourcing, managing and developing relationship with ‘Influencers’ to grow brand awareness and drive sales; and engaging with the general public and customers with the influencers on our social media platforms.

– Defining, developing and delivering paid social campaigns that align with wider marketing initiatives

– Campaign management: help creating and implementing ‘promotional campaigns’ (e.g. Black Friday, New Year New You, Summer Sale..) via multiple channels.

– Monthly reporting on social media performance, including ideas for future posts based on current trends and competitor activity.

– Working with the wider marketing team on producing and scheduling all required marketing content (social media posts, blogs, articles, B2B marketing materials, video etc…)

– Working with our marketing team and external agencies to co-ordinate our marketing strategies (providing briefs/updates, assist in workflow management, communication within the teams etc.)
