I studied Sport and Exercise Science at Sheffield Hallam University for three years, graduating in 2014. I later went on to publish my very own research paper exploring dietary manipulations and short-term performance improvements in 2015.
I have years of experience in the sporting industry after working as a Sports Co-ordinator for both Badminton England and Hockey Victoria. With this in mind, I have played competitive sports since a very early age, representing Barnsley Football Academy from the age of 9-16 and later playing National League Field Hockey for Doncaster Hockey Club, and Yorkshire Seniors in the UK and Casey Cannons Hockey Club in the Australian Victoria Premier League.
I started working for YorkTest in June 2016 as a B2B Account Manager and I am now the in-house Sports Optimisation Specialist after completing Open University courses and becoming an accredited Anti-Doping Advisor. I am currently studying to become a qualified Sport Nutrition Advisor through The Health Science Academy, which the company are funding and I aim to complete this by the end of 2018. Since joining the company, my role has progressed significantly and the help and encouragement I have received so far has been absolutely fantastic. My responsibilities have now grown to a point where I manage and close business opportunities for fitness practitioners and professional sports teams across the globe. I also take an active role in clinical trials with the company looking into performance-based improvements through the use of our food intolerance testing in a professional sporting environment.
