Yorktest relieves IBS symptoms

A Midlands man in his seventies is feeling as fit as a fiddle following a painstaking
16 years' of pain and suffering. Yet Frank Rose, 73, was amazed to discover his
chronic bouts of nausea and intestinal problems were simply down to the food he
was eating.
The retired company director underwent a YorkTest food intolerance test that
revealed his body cannot process various foods. He says he now feels 'like a blind
man that has woken up and can see again'.
More than 15 years ago Frank started feeling unwell. He said he had to force
himself to eat during a time when each meal was accompanied by terrible unease
and sickness. Most of the doctors he regularly saw told him it was 'just one of
those things'. The situation came to breaking point when his GP suggested it may
have something to do with the food he was eating. Said Frank: "He didn't hold
a great deal of confidence in food intolerance tests and told me that it may have
no effect."
Undeterred, Frank decided to give it a go and was put in touch with a laboratory
in Yorkshire who said they were able to carry out a simple home blood test to
see if there were any problems. "They were absolutely wonderful and so sympathetic,"
beamed Frank, who nows lists swimming and golf as his retirement hobbies.
The test revealed that Frank was intolerant to yeast, pork, turkey and salmon.
He made an appointment to see the YorkTest nutritionist who advised him to steer
clear of eating bread, beer, gravy and even mushrooms, amongst other things. It
cost over £200 and was only paid in full should the clinic find a positive intolerance
diagnosis, but Frank said it was "worth £200,000!." I couldn't believe it, within
about three days I started to feel better. My wife and I have just been down to
Devon and I didn't suffer at all." "It's priceless to be able to get up in the
morning and feel absolutely brilliant. I'm 73 but feel 53 again."
